Topanga State Park Area Summary Description: While close to the city, Topanga State Park retains a true "wilderness" feel, with rugged terrain and all sorts of wildlife. The vegetation is typical Southern California chaparral punctuated by wooded streamside areas. While the recommended rides are geared towards more advanced riders, the fire roads here are great places for beginners to learn. The fire roads (Sullivan Ridge, Westridge and Canyonback) are moderate and sport parallel single-track trails with multiple access points. |
Topanga State Park is just one of the huge variety of mountain biking spots that the Santa Monica Mountains has to offer. Discover more great rides. |
